The New Year is here, and with it comes a whole new line-up of promos from leading New Jersey online poker room, WSOP.com. WSOP NJ Winter Poker Classic – $70k GTD
WSOP.com is wasting no time in initiating the first major online poker tournament series of 2015. The Winter Poker Classic kicks off Sunday, January 4th with the first of 8 events, culminating into the big $25k GTD Main Event on Sunday, January 11th. Interestingly enough, Event #1 will also feature a $25k GTD prize pool, with a mix of smaller guarantees ranging from $1k to $5k throughout the week. The winner of the WSOP NJ Winter Poker Classic Main Event will receive a commemorative WSOP.com Champions Ring.

Cracked & Busted
If you’ve ever had pocket Aces cracked, or felt the pain of a full boat sunk on the river, you’ll appreciate the new Cracked and Busted promo at WSOP NJ. Players must opt-in to this promotion to earn the respective rewards. From there, all January long, if a player’s Aces are cracked or full house loses to a better hand on the river (hand must reach showdown to qualify), they will receive an online poker bonus “equal to the minimum buy in for the Hold’em cash game table” they were playing at the time.
App Two-A-Days for Mobile Poker Players
All month long, playing online poker on your mobile device (iOS and Android supported) at WSOP NJ and earning just 2 Action Points (AP) can lead to a valuable tournament ticket come February. The more days you play and earn 2+ AP this month, the higher the tournament ticket will be worth.
5 Days = One $1 Tournament Ticket
10 Days = Two $1 Tournament Ticket
15 Days = One $5 Tournament Ticket
22+ Days = One $10 Tournament Ticket
Big Sunday 5-Seat Freeroll
WSOP NJ will be giving away 5 seats every week to its biggest weekly event, the Big Sunday $25k GTD. All members who achieve Gold Status will receive a ticket to the Big Sunday Seat Freeroll. The top 5 finishers in the freeroll will receive free entry to the following Big Sunday $25k GTD, valued at $200.
Military Appreciation Freeroll
On Sunday, January 18th, the online poker site will be hosting a very special $500 Military Appreciation Freeroll. All members or veterans of the US Armed Forces are automatically eligible to participate. Any player who has already verified their active/veteran status will instantly receive a ticket to the freeroll. Players who have not verified their active/veteran status may do so by uploading a copy of any official document of confirmation.
